MCC Clothing Pool

We have a number of families in need of replacement uniforms & we also provide emergency clothing to students who have a uniform mishap whilst at school.

The College has a Clothing Pool to meet these needs & we would appreciate the donation of any unwanted or outgrown uniforms in good, clean condition which we can pass onto those students.

If you have any uniform items which can be donated to the College, they would be gratefully appreciated. Would you kindly drop them into the office.

The COVID Intensive Learning Support Program

Over the next few weeks, MCC will be rolling out our Covid Intensive Learning Support (ILS)  Program, in alignment with the initiative proposed by the NSW government. The purpose of the ILS program is to deliver targeted and intensive small group tuition support to the students within our school who need it most.

Under the program, schools across NSW have been provided with funding to employ additional teachers and educators to deliver tutoring to selected students in areas of literacy and numeracy. The tutoring sessions will be 20- 50 minutes in duration, and each small group of students will meet with their assigned tutor three times per week. These sessions will predominantly take place within school hours, and students will be withdrawn from their regular classes for the duration of each short session.

Students will be selected to partake in the program based on a number of criteria, including but not limited to information from teachers, data collected from various assessment sources and work samples, as well as consideration of areas of disadvantage for students in our community.

Parents and carers of students who have been selected to participate in the program will be notified on Compass, and provided with more information and further details about the ILS program at this time.
