Curriculum Update

As David has mentioned in his section, we place the highest priority on making strategic decisions that maximise the learning opportunities of all students. A significant component of this is the allocation of students to individual grades. To facilitate the effective allocation of students, we run two Step Up Days whereby the students are placed in grades that are very similar to the eventual 2021 grades. 

After the first Step Up day, teachers reviewed the overall cohesiveness of the grade and documented any possible issues. We subsequently made minor changes to the grades for the second Step Up Day, held on Thursday 26th November. Both Step Up days were successful and augers well for a fantastic 2021.

Students will find out their 2021 grade and teacher on Tuesday December 8th. We are very confident that this strategic process will set up the grades for success in 2021.
