Out of School Hours Care
Check out our new Multicultural Identity Wall, the children have been enjoying sharing things about their own cultures and learning about the cultures of their friends.
This week we have been learning about the Indian Diwali Festival. Diwali is called the Festival of Lights and symbolises the victory of light over darkness. We worked together to make a Diwali wreath to display in the OSHC window, it is traditionally used to celebrate the Festival of Lights. Urmeekshha and Raghav helped teach us how to make special lanterns out of paper fans and shared how their family hangs lots of LED lights at home to celebrate Diwali.
Reminder to book for the upcoming Pupil Free Day Friday November 27th.
