Preschool Graduation will be held 3:30pm on Thursday 10th December The event will take place behind the Preschool in the school garden area. Parents are asked to adhere to social distancing during this event.

Transition

As you may be aware transition to the reception has begun for the preschoolers starting school in 2021. What you may not know about is the behind the scenes transition preparation that occurs. On Thursday 12th November Preschool staff met with Early Years teachers and discussed continuity of learning. Discussions included identifying the oral language and phonological awareness skills that the children will bring with them as they start school. The planning that resulted from the day will ensure that the learning that occurs from day 1 of school is targeted towards the learning needs of the children. We are excited about our new receptions starting in 2021.
