From the Principal. . .
Dear Families,
I hope that everyone enjoyed their long weekend with family and friends, a great chance to renew the batteries particularly as we enter into the heart of winter!
As we move toward the end of term, we are in the process of finding replacement teachers for Linda Tracey in 1/2 and Kristina Khoo (PE and Year 5/6). Linda will complete her teaching post at the end of term and Kristina at the end of week 2 in Term 3. I will keep you informed.

Preps 2020
We have sent out our Letters of Offer for Prep enrolments for 2020. We will once again have 3 Prep classes.
We have met with all new families and are currently meeting with existing families who have a new Prep beginning in 2020.
More Staffing News...
We congratulate Frieda Sison and her partner Ian as they await the birth of their second child in November! Frieda will continue to teach in Prep S until 4th Term. I will advertise for a teacher to join Emma Sofra beginning Term 4. It is such an exciting time for their family and I know that you will continue to keep them in your prayers.

2018 Annual Report To the Community
The 2018 Annual Report to the Community is on our Website. If you wish to access a hard copy please come to the office and speak with Miss Leyla.
Family/Teacher conferences
Please note that school will finish at 1:10pm on Tuesday 25th June to facilitate the family/teacher conferences beginning at 1:45pm. OHSC will operate from 1:10pm on this day.
Families will be able to book times online through the ePortal as from this FRIDAY 9am.
The teachers are currently writing the semester Reports.
5/6 R reports will go home next term. Parents and students from this class are aware of the
Report /Interview arrangements.
School Closure Day
The school will undertake a professional learning day on Monday 26th August and as such it will be a student free day. Please make appropriate arrangements. More information later.
Car Parking
Council Officers will be visiting our surrounding streets before and after school to ensure that we are abiding by our road and parking rules. I ask everyone to be courteous and patient when leaving the parish car park.
Please be extra mindful and careful of any bike riders and pedestrians on Police Road crossing at the St John Vianney's exit.
OHSC - Coordinator
Archana who has been our Camp Australia OSHC coordinator will complete her time with the service as of this Friday 14th June.
On behalf of the school we thank Archana for her wonderful commitment and dedication both as an assistant as in more recent times as a Coordinator. We wish her well.
Camp Australia will inform all families using the service of the new coordinator by the end of this week.
End of Term
Term 2 will conclude at 2:30pm on Friday 28th June.
Term 3 will begin at 8:45am on Monday 15th July.
