Team Leader’s Message

I have just had the privilege of attending both the Year 11 and Year 12 camps in the past two weeks.  Going on school camp is a chance to strengthen the relationships between peers, students and staff, demonstrate independence and apply skills learnt in a new context.  Students and staff spent many hours planning these camps, meeting many of the Personal Development Skills outcomes for the VCAL certificate.

These were my first trips with Concord.  I was impressed with the level of independence and positive attitude the students displayed, the professionalism and care of the staff who attended, and the support of the school council and principal, Jason Coningsby, who heavily subsidised the Sydney trip so that all students who wanted to attend the trip could.  We are all fortunate to be part of the Concord community.
