Japanese Home Learning Updates

Last week, Sensai Andrews asked students to respond to this letter.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Sometimes when scary and anxious things happen around us, as we find ourselves in this Covid 19 world, good and wonderful things also happen. As teachers, we are doing our best to engage in your childrens’ learning. As parents and guardians, you too can make their learning a special time. I would like to highlight my Japanese lesson in the festival of Children where Koinobori are flown. I was pleasantly

emailed  by Johnathon and Alysha’s mother, Katherine. She went on to say that her children and she too enjoyed the lesson together. She also participated and drew a koinobori.

I found this such an inspirational story of family togetherness in learning together.

Please feel free to email me photos of you doing work with your children too.

We are all in this together!

Ganbatte = Hang in there!

God bless you all.

Most Sincerely,

Joy Andrews (Japanese)
