Mini Winter Feast – Friday 17 June
Excitement is building for our first community event, the Mini Winter Feast, to be held this Friday 17 June on the College Green. This is a whole-College event and is open to all.
I would like to thank the organisation committee for their amazing preparation to date, and we look forward to welcoming you to the event from 5.00pm.
Wellbeing programs
Over the last few weeks, students have been exposed to significant experiences in the wellbeing space with Mitch McPherson from SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY addressing the Senior School at a recent assembly and Susan McLean talking to our Years 4-10 students about cybersafety and staying safe online.
Mental health and wellbeing for our students is a priority for us and we encourage you to continue your conversations with your children around these topics.
Mid-year exams
All students in Years 10-12 will be undertaking their final preparation for their mid-year exams in the coming weeks.
While these events do cause some level of stress, I encourage the students to communicate with parents/carers and staff to ensure they manage their timeline and workload pressures.
These exams will conclude what has been for our students a very busy term and for our Year 12s in particular, one of the final pieces in the puzzle of their schooling journey.
We wish students every success in the upcoming weeks.
Meet the Principal Tours
The next ‘Meet the Principal Tour’ will be held on Friday 5 August at 9.30am.
The session commences with a meeting and presentation by me, followed by a College tour led by student leaders, giving parent and carers the opportunity to speak to students and staff, and see what we do during a day at St Mary’s College. Further tour dates are available on our website.
Closing dates for enrolments are listed below:
