Engagement Program

I would like to thank and congratulate our students who are participating in the Engagement Program. During the second part of the term, we have been developing our social and emotional learning, including leadership skills.

Our team have been restoring our kitchen garden.

We began by identifying the most pressing need which was weeding. Students got to work and cleared the weeds within a week.

Our next task was removing poor quality soil and replacing that with a better-quality product which should be completed by the end of this week.

We have also begun sowing seeds (vegetables and flowers) to transplant early in term 3.

Students will be continuing to develop their leadership skills in term 3 by engaging in the garden, experimenting with cooking, working with children in our younger years, and other exciting activities.
