Takeover Writing Competition

On Tuesday, 31 May, the Takeover Melbourne team from the ABC visited Melton Secondary College to run a writing workshop. An enthusiastic group of junior years students attended the workshop where they engaged with learning about a range of young people’s personal stories and engaged in writing their own. The Takeover team worked with our students to identify aspects of their life that they are passionate about, moments that have been challenging, and moments that have been rewarding. Our students turned these events into inspiring stories that they will enter into the Takeover Melbourne Writing Competition. We look forward to seeing some Melton Student’s stories out on public forums!
