Author Visit

On Friday, 10 June, Ellie Marney, a multi-award winning crime writer visited Melton Secondary College. A group of our year 7 students engaged in hearing all about Ellie’s writing journey and how she turned her stories into bestselling titles. Ellie spoke to our students about the challenges and rewards of being an author, the process of story writing, and how she ended up becoming a crime writer. Our year 7 students asked insightful questions and even had the opportunity to take photos with Ellie and have novels personally signed by the author. We thank and celebrate our year 7 students for displaying our college values and engaging in this opportunity with enthusiasm!
