Cohealth - Health & Wellbeing Expo - 27 June

Cohealth are hosting a health and wellbeing expo at 240 Wellington Street, Collingwood on Monday, 27 June.

 Cohealth invites all Yarra residents to attend for Centre link and Service Australia support, free flu and COVID vaccinations, gift and kids activities.'

Managing Your Mental Health over the Holidays

Hello students, staff and families, we are almost half way through the year and steadily adjusting to being at school full time. The Wellbeing team would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday and to remind you of things that help  mental health and where to get support when you need it. Mental Health is very dependent on physical health – good nutrition, getting enough sleep and regular exercise are the key components to managing mood. The holidays will provide the opportunity to rest and recharge and to set up good habits for the rest of the year.It is important to maintain routines over the break. Use the holidays to learn about and implement good sleep hygiene and healthy nutrition. 

Developing a regular exercise schedule will also improve physical and mental health.There are lots of supports out there for those times when you or your loved ones might need extra care. 

There are two documents attached, with a range of support services that can be accessed online or via telephone. Please be aware you may have to wait on hold for a whole depending on demand for some of the phone services. It is better to reach out and seek help than to try and deal with it all on your own.
