Learning

Our Year 7 students have had a fantastic start to the year in ConnecTED Learning, making the most of the glasshouse space to share in learning experiences as well as participating in focused independent learning.

Geography

In Geography, students have built their knowledge about processes that change the earth and create landforms and are very proudly using new vocabulary such as ‘geomorphic processes’ in their discussions. They have participated in workshops to learn about river landscapes and embraced new technology to create interactive images explaining how waterfalls are formed.

Parents are invited to look over this example made by Alayna Neyland of 7.3.  Our budding geographers are looking forward to the Year 7 excursion to the Murrumbidgee River and surrounds where students will participate in fieldwork to gather data that they will use to analyse the value of the Murrumbidgee River to the community.
