Welcome to Semester 1.  

Students in Junior Secondary are reading stories focusing on both construction and persuasive texts to introduce the topic of creating an argument. 

In Maths, each student is concentrating on the numbers relevant to their knowledge level. We are developing the skill of using place value to write and work with numbers using everyday experiences. 

In HASS, students will be relating stories about events from the past and comparing these with events celebrated today. 

In Health, students will be recognising and identifying their emotions and those of others; identifying actions that help them be healthy, safe and active; recognise strengths and achievements; and recognise how their bodies are growing and changing.
