From the Principal 

Welcome to 2023

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We have had a very smooth start to the 2023 school year across both our Primary and Secondary Schools thanks to the collective contributions and efforts of all staff. 

As incoming Principal, it has been wonderful to have the opportunity to meet, greet and to start to develop relationships and connection with our students, staff and families.

This week I had the pleasure of joining our Year 12 students on their HSC Melbourne Camp. The learning intentions of this program were to enable students to investigate career options through visitations to a selection of tertiary institutions in addition to developing their ability to navigate and use public transport in and around Melbourne city area.

I have also thoroughly enjoyed joining our Year 11 students for a component of their Camp Program in Torrumbarry as well as undertaking a learning walk with our Head of Primary, Mrs Nici Deller, through every K-6 classroom.

As an educational leader my definition of a classroom is any learning environment that supports the growth of our students and it has been wonderful to join our students in a diverse selection of learning environments both on and off campus since the commencement of the year.

On a personal note, I take this opportunity to thank the Moama Anglican Grammar community for the warm reception that my family and I have experienced since our arrival from Melbourne. We are delighted to live in the region and I feel genuinely privileged to join the school community and honoured to serve as the Principal of our great school.

Over the course of Term 1 we will be holding a series of community engagements in the form of morning and afternoon teas to provide additional opportunities for me to meet and greet members of the school community. 

I very much hope that those members of our community that I have not yet been able to meet can attend one of these morning or afternoon teas.
