Sports Update

Dear Parents and Carers,

Last Friday, 3 February a bright and sunny day made for a fantastic swimming carnival. Oak Flats Public School swimming competitors made their way down to Oak Flats Swimming Pool accompanied by teachers and support staff. All students who attended are to be congratulated for their efforts, achievements and sportsmanship. Oak Flats Public Staff would like to thank all parent helpers who assisted on the day, that allowed our carnival to run smoothly. We would also like to thank Oak Flats Swimming Club for their efforts, support and assistance in running our carnival. It was the best swimming carnival yet!

Students who were successful on the day will be attending the Mid South Swimming Carnival on Friday, 17 February at Oak Flats Swimming Pool. We wish all these competitors the very best!

On Wednesday, 1 February students from Years 3 - 6 voted for their House Captain and Vice Captain. Congratulations to the following students who received their badge and stated their pledge at the Primary Assembly on Wednesday, 15 February 2023.

On Monday, 6 February, three female students trialed for South Coast Girls Cricket team. These students demonstrated their high level of skill, determination and sportsmanship. A special congratulations to Polly H who was successful on making the team.
