Languages Week

In the past week, Catholic Regional College Sydenham has celebrated Language week and the subjects that are offered in the Language department at our school. The week began with a very competitive trivia quiz, challenging students to come together in teams and makeuse of their general knowledge, questioning how much students really knew about their favourite books and movies. Tuesday was extremely exciting with the Truganini Cluster raising funds for their social justice initiative selling Gelati at lunch, giving students that well needed sugar boost for the start of the week! Later in the week, students participated in a very entertaining game of Scrabble and ate a very well cooked meal at Catholic Regional College Sydenham’s own Manna. To end the very busy school week, a lunch time screening of Sherlock in the Learning Common took place, allowing for everyone to sit back and relax. It was great to see so many students and teachers get involved with the Languages week and celebrate the Language faculty we have here at Catholic Regional College.
