Art News 

Everyone is enjoying being back in the Art room where there are endless possibilities to create. We have already started painting activities and are looking forward to using the new kiln this term.

Foundation students have been looking at the artwork of John Olsen for inspiration to paint caterpillars. They have been using different tools, such as sponges, brushes and match sticks to paint. Also they have been exploring how to mix two colours to make another colour.

The Level 1 and 2 students are in the process of drawing and painting flowers to make their Ken Done inspired artwork. They are practicing drawing petal shapes to create their flowers. They are also learning to use bright colours like Ken Done does in his paintings.
