D-PAWS PROGRAM

Welcome back to Term 3 and another wonderful school term with Ziggy. She has settled back into the routine of getting out of bed early and coming back to school, although like many of us she was fairly tired in the afternoons. You might have noticed that Ziggy has had a back to school hair cut and with the chilly mornings she has been wearing a nice warm jacket to stop her from feeling the cold.
With Level 5 away on camp in week 2, it is a great opportunity for Ziggy to practice some resilience and independence away from Mr Small and the comfort of the Level 5 classroom. During this week she will be based in the Level 6 classrooms and spend the evenings with Ms McLeod. Ziggy will continue her classroom visits to see all of the children.
With Ziggy now being a bit older and wiser, we are looking to bring a trainer into the school to help work on some of her behavioural skills. If you know of someone or could recommend a trainer please don't hesitate to let Mr Small know via his email below.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Mr Small on r.small@jpps.vic.edu.au
We are very fortunate to have three community sponsors already and are always looking for more, so if you or anyone you know might be able to help please contact Mr Small via email.
Families are also able to donate toward the cost of Ziggy's care through the Qkr app.
A huge thank you to Mulgrave Country Club for their generous donation towards Ziggy's training and food costs, Brandon Park Vet for their support of the program through free puppy classes and subsidized vet costs and to Waverley Park Dental Care for covering the costs of Ziggy's obedience training.
