Prep - Year 2 Athletics
On Friday 26 November, students competed at the Prep - Year 2 House Athletics Competition. Students participated in running, jumping and throwing events with the aim to score as many points as possible for their House. The team with the greatest number of points at the end would be crowned as the champions!
Our Prep - Year 2 students demonstrated excellent perseverance and team skills to position their House for success, these were the results.

Yarra Division Athletics Championships
On 1 December, selected students in Year 3 - 6 competed at the Yarra Division Athletics Championships. This year, the competition had a team focus, with students finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd earning points for their school. Oxley was placed in the large schools’ section with other schools who had 250 students or more for their 2021 cohort.
Despite the extremely hot conditions, our students competed at a very high level, giving everything they had to earn those precious points for Oxley. Once the scores had been calculated, Oxley Christian College was announced as the Yarra Division Champions in the large schools division after amassing the greatest number of points, a phenomenal effort! We are super proud of the way students represented our school with superb perseverance and effort, well done to all who were involved!
