Reflection for the end of the year

Lord and Teacher,
Bless all in this Marist community
As we seek to end our year
With the grace you so generously provide.

We give thanks for the students, for our colleagues,
And all who have contributed
To this year of nurturing and growth.

We affirm all the positive moments,
Of insight, of the excitement of learning,
Of accomplishment, of creativity,
Of laughter, of a sense of community.

We recognise the times of struggle,
Of difficult work, of misunderstanding,
Even of failure-we give these
To you for transformation,
So they can become seeds
That will find fertile soil.

As we head into the summer,
May we take with us
The knowledge that
You will keep us all
In your embrace so
We may rest and be restored
And so we can continue in
The ongoing discovery
of your Love.

We make our prayer in the name of Jesus and his Good Mother.
Amen

Marist College Ashgrove and St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal

A heartfelt thank you to our students, parents, pastoral care group and primary teachers. teachers, library staff, administration staff and for the personal donations and generous support of the St Vincent de Paul and Marist College Ashgrove Christmas Appeal for 2021. Your donations will help bring joy and hope to families in our local and in the Downs and West areas this year. We have raised in excess of $14,000.00, $3,890.00 of this was generously donated by the Business Department using funds raised from Market Day stalls.

Graduation Mass

As a gift to our graduating Year 12 students the College Community presents each student with a crucifix. As the students receive this gift they are reminded of the words spoken on the Year 12 Retreat.

“You are precious in the eyes of God, be who you are called to be”

We wish the Seniors of 2021 all the very best for the future.
