Finishing the Year Well

With the end of the school year a couple of days away, it is timely to remind all our boys of the importance of finishing well. Keep your uniform looking its best, keep working until the end, and take the opportunity to conclude the term positively – thank your teachers, ask for forgiveness to those you have aggrieved, and forgive those who have aggrieved you. How you finish a long task is akin to the strength of your character – and school is no different. Integrity is important. Finish strong and finish positive, gentlemen!

How can you show care, compassion or a random act of kindness to another before the end of the year? My challenge is to do it to someone you do not know. Kindness breeds!

Departing Students

If your son is graduating or departing the College, please remember to download copies of your son’s report cards from Parent Lounge.

Access to these report cards will be removed from 25 December.

Any balances above $5.00 in your Monitor account will be applied to your Fee Account and incorporated into any refunds owing, eg. Acceptance Fee refund.  Further communication will be sent in regards to this from the Head of College.

School TV

A reminder that MCA parents have access to School TV – a magnificent resource in investigating the many facets of raising a young man. There is a large range of topics from anxiety, positive parenting, internet addiction through to mindfulness and gratitude. Preparation for 2022

Notification of starting times per year level will be published by the school at the start of next year. As with any stage of the year, uniform, grooming and hair-cuts must be in-check for Day 1 next year. In the holidays gentlemen, be 100% Marist, 100% of the time.

I wish the MCA family and the wider community a safe and Holy Christmas.
