Year 10 Camp

On Tuesday, 6th December, our Year 10 students travelled to Queenscliff for a four-day camp to finish the 2021 school year. Like our Year 8 students, our Year 10’s enjoyed a coastal camp packed with seaside activities and attractions. Students enjoyed surfing lessons on Queenscliff Main Beach, a Marine Ecology Workshop, a Pebble Crab Tour with a Touch and Feel Session at Swan Bay, and a visit to the Australian National Surfing Museum in Torquay. Windy weather caused the cancellation of a planned snorkelling session in Port Phillip Bay, however this was replaced by scuba diving practice in an indoor pool. Any spare time students had during the camp was spent relaxing, taking beach walks, fishing, and of course, indulging in pizza, fish and chips and ice-cream, just to name a few of the available delicacies!
