Final Thoughts

Artwork by Will Mooney, The Ridgeway Campus, Year 8

We hope you have enjoyed the first issue of The Ivy Voice; the Isolation Issue, and that you have found something new or realised that no, you were not the only one who secretly stayed in bed for half the day whilst in classes with your pet or tried to change your icon just to confuse the teachers talking to the screen. I'm sure all your slippers and trackies have been well worn through and maybe you even tried out some strange track on the Strava map.

To conclude, the writers  have come up with a list of the best and worst things about  isolation, you can choose which ones you think are which:

  1. Experimental baking
  2. Many cups of tea
  3. No pesky social life to get in the way of homework
  4. So many family dinners
  5. Hair alterations
  6. Sleeping in and eating whenever
  7. Hanging out with pets
  8. Giving 100% attention to online classes

As this is a school-wide endeavour, we wish to have many writers and contributors, especially the Primary Years, so please send us an email, we'd love to hear from you!

Best wishes,
