The short list for the Children’s Book Council Book of the Year Awards has been announced.  At Killester we have purchased all the books in three categories.  It would be wonderful if as many students as possible could read some of these new and exciting books.  They will be available for loan when all the students return.

Each Friday, Mrs Merryn O’Doherty has been emailing all the students a jigsaw to complete online.  These jigsaws have all been of shortlisted book covers.  We hope you have enjoyed completing them.

Winners in each category will be announced in October during Book Week.
