Student Leadership

During term two, we we're sad to say farewell to one of our Vice Captains - Benny Veale. Ben and his family have moved to sunny Queensland. Thank you for all your hard to and dedication to your role, Ben. You will be missed!
Over the last two weeks of lockdown, the Student Leaders, Mrs Corcoran and Ms Watkins had to fill Benny's Vice Captain role. We are happy to announce that Jackson Alder has been successful in the Vice Captain role. Well done, Jackson! You will make a fantastic captain at CSPS.
News from the School Leaders
A Message from Jackson - Vice Captain:
Hi my name is Jackson Alder. I am the new Vice captain for the second half of 2021, with Jesse Dean. I was originally Wiiny house captain (Red). I loved doing that leadership role but I decided to apply for the Vice Captain position. Sadly, Ben Veale has just left our school. He is heading up to Queensland, he was a great Vice Captain and I am proud to have the role and I make great use of it. Both Jesse and I are very close because we are cousins; I'm sure we will work well together. Because I have received the Vice captain position, that means that the Wiiny House Captain Leader is now up for grabs! The House Captain role involves being confident, being a good role model, assisting with sporting events and much more.
A message from Jesse - Vice Captain:
Because of Covid-19 we are doing things differently and virtually in Remote Learning (online schooling). Our subjects taught virtually are: Physical Vibe, Art, Environmental Studies, School Assemblies, School Tours and Meetings. Our captains cannot go ahead with Junior School Sports at the moment but as soon as we get back it will continue.
A message from Caitlin - School Captain:
Virtual Tours by Chloe and Tom
At the moment the school leaders are doing school virtual tours. We are trying to engage lots of little new Foundation students and families to be a member of this wonderful, beautiful, amazing school. Mrs Corcoran and Mrs Halket talk about the Capital Works and the students talk about the amazing things our school offers. We do this fully virtually - with online slides!.
