Physical Vibe News
Well done to the Cranbourne South community for adapting so quickly to remote learning again. It is not ideal to be completing our Physical Vibe lessons at home but I am proud of everyone for getting out there and having a go. It is important that we are active for at least 60 minutes a day.

St John First Aid Incursion
Unfortunately we have had to reschedule our whole school first aid incursion to term 3 - Monday 16th August. This program is part of the St John Ambulance First Aid in Schools Program. The knowledge and skills gained in the First Aid in Schools Program will develop First Aid awareness in school children and contribute to building a more resilient community. This learning is age-appropriate and integrates with the Victoria Curriculum. More information regarding the content covered by each year level will be available on Compass closer to the incursion.
Play To Your Strengths Incursion - rescheduled
We have made the decision to reschedule the Play to Your Strengths incursion. Year 3 - 6 students will now participate in this program on Monday 13th September and Tuesday 14th September. If you had already paid for this incursion the money will be credited to your account.
Get Active Vouchers
The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and recreation activities by reimbursing the cost of membership and registration fees, uniforms and equipment. Eligible children may be able to receive up to $200 each. Head to the website for more information.

Environmental Studies News
As part of Reconciliation week the students created a Rainbow Serpent and I have to say I was just so impressed by the creativity and effort that they all put in.
Thank you to William who created this wonderful poster with his Grandfather about his culture to celebrate Reconciliation Week.
Well the second week of remote learning was a bit wet but that did not stop some families getting outside for a nature walk!
This week we celebrated World Oceans Day by creating marine leaf art and again I was thrilled by your creations. Thank you so much to everybody for embracing the activities with your children.

NATURE ART
The Junior School students created Nature Creatures, based on the book 'The Leaf Man.'
The Middle and Senior School students created a Nature Mandala inspired by the artist Andy Goldsworthy. A big thank you to all of the students who completed these activities at home. I was so impressed with your art work!
Indigenous Round Football Guernsey
As part of Reconciliation week, students designed their own Indigenous round Football Guernsey using traditional symbols.
