Week 4 Playlist: Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

This week the playlist is stuck on all the Broadway hits from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.  To and from school, during breaks and most importantly in the lead up to auditions, its all Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.  As the scores and scripts arrived, we are enthralled by the combination of classic songs from the original motion picture including The Candy Man and Pure Imagination with new songs written for the Broadway musical like The Queen of Pop and Vidiots.  Best of luck to all who auditioned and we can’t wait to start working with the cast next week.

The annual Orchestra Victoria mOVe! program returns to the College during the mid-year break.  The Kantor Family Music and Performing Arts Centre will provide a ‘home base’ for the festival, hosting student workshops and teacher professional development and the mOVe! Showcase concert on Thursday night, July 8th.  Application for enrolment in the program that runs during the last week of the mid-term break July 6-8 should apply online via the following link and if unsure speak with your instrumental teacher and Mr Hiscock. On the mOVe!
