ARTIST OF THE WEEK

Meet artists of the week Daniel and Ella who have been working collaboratively on their Photography folio.

“Our image was inspired by the artist Gerwyn Davies. To create our props, we used red and white balloons for one head of the costumes to symbolise a mushroom, for the other head we used paper and cardboard to create the mushroom head, and topped it off with gold spray paint. As for our costumes they both were white dresses. The photos were taken in front of a green screen. Once the photos were taken, we edited them on photoshop and put the two images together onto the background”

Meet Alex- this weeks Artist of the Week! Alex performed a melodrama in class and impressed the audience with his expressive skills and enthusiasm! Well done, Alex!

The Chain Reaction Project

Our Year 10 Architecture students began their collaborative project with Artist in Residence Jens Altheimer. Students focused on creating small chain reactions using a range of recycled materials. We look forward to seeing this project come together.
