School is back onsite on Friday

As you would be aware, James Merlino, Acting Premier has just announced the easing of COVID-19 restrictions with students returning to school on Friday.

Thank you once again to our families for responding so seamlessly to remote learning during the current COVID-19 restrictions. These challenges associated with COVID-19 continue to live with us on a daily basis.

Thank you to our staff who have continued to teach and lead with persistence and empathy to ensure our students are receiving the best possible learning regardless of circumstances.

We are very excited to welcome students and staff back to school on Friday 11th at 8.50am.

School Assembly will return on Friday via link at 2.45pm.

At this stage we have had no further advice from DET regarding other operational matters and upcoming events. Once this is received you will be updated as soon as possible.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday 21st & Tuesday 22nd June. Parent teacher Conferences provide an opportunity to discuss student achievement and growth, and social, emotional learning in Semester 1.

Please note these conferences will be held online via webex. Details to follow soon, however students will not be required to attend. Students will have an opportunity to share their learning in Term 3.

Teachers are currently completing Semester 1 Reports. Reports will be available via Compass on Friday 18th June.

 Basketball Court Project Update

Construction on the basketball courts is well underway. Sustainable Landscapes have been working through sun and rain to complete the project. Concrete was poured last week and the garden beds are currently being established.  We are hoping that students will be able to enjoy and use this area by end of term!

Thank you for Book Fair

Please find new books that we received from our Book Fair. These books will be available for students to read in the library over the coming weeks. Many thanks to Lisa Ralling for contacting books and updating our library system this term.

Happy Weekend

Finally as we head off for the Queen’s Birthday weekend, I would like to wish all our families a safe and restful break ……and to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your combined efforts of patience and support during remote learning and for giving it a go!
