Specialist Feature News: Visual Arts

Selamat Siang semuanya, 

In Visual Arts students have been exploring a whole school focus of the artist, Karla Gerard. We have been learning about her contemporary abstract style of folk art and applying this to our own village creations. 

Junior students have been focusing on using shape such as squares and triangles to create houses, whilst the Senior students have been adding details of villages and towns into their art pieces and challenging themselves to incorporate both 3D and 2D shapes and structures in their art.

Art Stool Competition:

Thank you and Terima Kasih to all students who submitted their entries for the Art Stool Competition! We have loved seeing all of your art reflecting the school values! The Art Captains and teachers will be choosing the designs shortly and we can look forward to freshly painting the stools!

5/6 Batik Aftercare:
