It’s been a massive week for the Parents & Friends Community, and an equally massive ❤️thank you❤️ to everyone who has been able to lend a hand.
📚We kicked off with Book Sorting for the Book Swap (on this Thursday 8th Sept) - thanks again to Miranda Starkey and Kath Wyatt for helping sort, and a big thankyou to Amy Moore for co-ordinating the stall.
🪳Mais has a great group of volunteers for the Parent Managed Head Lice Program on Wednesday, and they quickly checked all students who had parental permission. It’s a thankless job, but one that aims to reduce the spread of Headlice throughout the school. (Are you scratching yet at just the thought?!)
Mais was assisted by Shima, Smita, George, Sarah, Rhianna & Nileema to get through everyone.

🎁Wednesday, Thursday & Friday were the Kindergarten Father’s Day / Special Person’s Day Stalls - thank you to Leonie and Sarah for helping the Kindergarten children choose something special for their person.
Friday was the whole school Father’s Day / Special Person’s Day Stall, and despite a few drizzles of rain, we got through all grades in record time - 80 minutes to be exact! Huge thank you to everyone who helped to make the stall a success - Jess, Leonie, Andrea, Monica, Karry, Emily, Jackie and Leah. You all did such an amazing job.
And thank you to those people who volunteered originally, but were unable to help in the end due to the time change. I really appreciate you offering in the first place.
🪩 There were definitely some bright and colourful outfits on display at the disco Friday night. It was great to see everyone having a blast and enjoying themselves after the past couple of years with virtual discos. It wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work on the night of Leonie, Naomi & Heidi. Thank you!
🍰 The cake raffle prizes last week were supplied by Andrea & Amy. Together, the total raised was $54.70.
The Junior Cake Raffle runs on Wednesdays , and the Senior Cake Raffle runs on Fridays. Both raffles are drawn at Assembly, and tickets are 20c each, or 6 for $1. The money raised goes towards the kitchen garden program. 🪴
👕🩳 We’ll be holding a second hand uniform stall beginning Tuesday the 13th of September in the office foyer. It will continue to run in the mornings that week if you are unable to make it on the 13th.
If you have any out-grown uniforms that you’d like to donate back to the school, please drop it off at the office.
