BOOK WEEK CELEBRATIONS

This year at Ripponlea we are going to Celebrate Book Week on Monday 22nd of August.

Not only are we going to have our annual dress-up procession, but we are also going to hold a morning tea and book swap!! On this day we invite all parents to attend both the parade and the morning tea.

Great Book Swap

Between now and Tuesday the 16th of August we ask that each child brings in at least 1 book that they no longer read and would like to trade. There will be a box in each classroom where they can place these books. We ask that the books are in good condition as they will be used for children to get a new book on the day of the event. On the day you and your child will have the opportunity to look at all the books and your child will choose a new book they would like to take home. There will also be the chance to donate a gold coin which will go to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation: ILF

Family morning tea

(Head to Qkr! to pre-order your scones) You can choose between plain, fruit & cheese and 2x scones will be $4. Head to QKR and place your orders by Wednesday the 17th of August

For the morning tea we are making a range of scones (including plain, cheese or fruit). If you wish to purchase these for your child please access the QKR! App, and make your selection under the 'Ripper Families' tab.
