Mixed Netball Finals

Congratulations to the Blue Mixed Netball Team, who won the Division Netball Finals back in July and qualified to play at the Eastern Region Netball Finals this week.  Unfortunately, the team didn’t win on the day, however we are very proud that they made it to such a high level.  Thank you very much to Kali Fraser who organised the day and has been coaching the students.  Also thank you to the parents who assisted Kali on Tuesday – Alisha Ford, Lisa White, Kimberley Knowles and Sandra James.

District Athletics – Thursday September 1st

These past few weeks, Ms Carter ( PE ) and Mrs Yorke  (PE) have been trialling students in Field Events and training those who were successful in the Track Finals at the House Athletics sports back in July from Years 3 – 6.  Thank you to both ladies for getting the District Athletics team together during Recesses and Lunchtimes and organising the uniforms etc.  A Compass event will be set up soon, however there are still some gaps in the team so once this has been finalised, the Event will go Live.  Please make sure that you consent and pay immediately so that Staff don’t have to follow this up.  If you are able to assist on the day, especially with being an extra adult on the buses, we would really appreciate your assistance.  Please let either of the PE teachers or myself know if you are able to help out.

From Sophie in Sickbay

We have had another delivery of RATs from the DET and these will be distributed through classrooms today and tomorrow.  We thank all families who are continuing to test regularly, to keep our community as safe as possible.

Also thanks to those who are keeping their sick children home, no matter what the illness - it certainly helps to stop the spread of all sorts of wintry germs to staff and classmates.

Loaned clothing

The winter weather has also put a huge hole in our supply of spare clothes for children who fall foul of muddy conditions on our ovals and playgrounds, particularly sizes 6 and 8 track pants.  If your child has been loaned spare clothing recently, please wash and return to the office promptly so that others who need it can have access.
