Lollies in Class!

This term, in Mr Dal Santo's Design Tech lessons, the Year 5/6 students have been looking at how materials can be used, shaped, and combined to create objects and structures. They have been taught how to use hammers and nails well, and how to sand and shape wood. Woodwork is a wonderful medium for innovative design and for developing children's creative and critical thinking.

Their task was to design a turning mechanism that will send lollies into a maze that will randomly distribute lollies between two players. Player One claims lollies on the left side of the base, Player Two claims lollies on the right.

We are all looking forward to seeing the Lolly dispensers in action!!

Student-Led Conferences & Parent Teacher Interviews

Our Junior School classrooms have been a buzz with so many families hearing their children confidently and professionally showcase their learning.

Every child showed evidence of their academic growth by proudly acknowledging their achievements and succinctly articulating their future personal goals.

Thank you to our dedicated teachers for thoroughly preparing our students and thank you parents for actively listening and engaging so positively in celebrating your child's schooling.
