Sport & PE
Ms McCleary
Swimming is back in the final 4 weeks of Term 3; 25th Aug - 16th Sept
Swimming is underway and the P-6’s are loving their opportunity to swim again in school. Just a reminder that all classes will be walking to the pool whatever the weather - so please check the weather that morning and bring rain coats/jackets/umbrellas if needed.
Also remember to label EVERY PIECE OF YOUR CHILD’S CLOTHING and TOWEL, it is very easy to mix up uniforms as they all look the same! Your child’s name on their uniform is the only way we can distinguish who that piece belongs to.
Each class will be walking to the pool and need a parent helper for each session otherwise the program cannot go ahead. It will make the sessions easier if your child can wear their bathers underneath their uniform on the way there. Please read the letters carefully and volunteer for a session if you can. If you have any questions please feel free to see me.
What does each child need to bring?
Small bag to take to swimming with the following;
Bathers - 1 piece
Towel
Plastic bag for wet clothes
Goggles and Swim hat - optional
