LOGOS FOR LANGUAGES

Gold Coin Donation

It's language week in week 5! This charity dress day theme is "Logos for Language week". Dress up to support your learning language (French, Mandarin, Italian) or any other language that you speak. Dress in your countries colours or cultural dress or wear an item of cultural significance and show the school the languages you can speak. All money raised will go to our 4 charities for the year. Ramadan Mubarak

Ramadan, the ninth month in the Muslim calendar, is a special time for the Muslim community. As a most blessed month, it is a time for reflection, prayer and renewal of faith. Muslims worldwide fast from dawn to sunset, abstaining totally from food, drink, smoking and other sensual pleasures to complete one of the five pillars of Islam and to achieve greater self-discipline, self-purification, and compassion for those less fortunate.

The DSC Connect team wish all students and families following the practice a blessed Ramadan and hope that the members of the college extend their respect and acceptance of other cultures.

Creative Writing Competition 2019

The Mental Health Foundation Australia are inviting students to participate in the 2019 Creative Writing Competition. This competition is open to all the Victorian Schools enrolled in Year 5-12. The terms & conditions and the entry form is available on the website. The creative piece must be uploaded on the website by filling up the form.
