Market Day

The annual Market Day, held as part of the the Business Management Unit 1 and 2 course work, was highly anticipated and very successful. The deep, inter-domain, authentic learning is an invaluable experience for students. Be it marketing, research, design, concept development, financial modelling, customer service, operational management, roles and responsibilities and business planning; it’s all in there.

A profit of $1257 was made and the students voted for it be donated to National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support Bronwyn Moline.

Public Speaking

During the next month, there will be Public Speaking competitions conducted for all levels Year 7 to 10.

Each student has presented, or will have the opportunity to present on a topical issue during their class and the best speaker in each form will be selected to deliver her speech in front of the rest of the cohort at designated times.

The first of these will be held on Friday 11 October where both the Year 8 and 10 groups will be competing. This is invaluable experience for the girls to hone their public speaking skills and develop confidence in communicating in front of an audience which is regarded as essential for the 21st Century worker.
