3D Printing Workshops

As we approach the end of Round 1 of the STEAM 3D Printing Workshops, the students have finished their personalised keychains. For the past few weeks, the students have attended the workshops every Wednesday lunchtime where they designed their key chain on an online 3D printing program, Tinkercad.

The participants applied STEAM skills to their key chain and gained understanding on how 3D printing is beneficial to the STEAM field, specially the medical field. The STEAM team received great feedback and would like to announce Round 2 of the 3D Printing Workshops. Students who are interested are encouraged to apply via this link:

Bayside Quilters Show

Bayside Quilters choice MGSC as the venue for their annual exhibition. It was held at the weekend.

It was a very successful event with proceeds going to the  local life saving club. A selection of work from our Year 7 and 10 classes were a colourful addition to the exhibition.
