We thank Melanie Erwin who has been student manager for the whole Year 8 cohort for Term 3 and welcome Steve Williams back from his leave for Term 4. Steve will resume his role as Student Manager for 8A, B, C and D and Melanie will continue managing 8E, F and G.

Year 7 Headspace Workshops

In support of the mental health and wellbeing of our Year 7 students (and our teachers!) the Junior School has arranged for Headspace to conduct two workshops on mental health awareness, self-care and supporting their friends. These workshops will take place Thursday 10 October and Tuesday 15 October and will run for approximately one hour.

Congratulations Maddy Fenton

In the last week of term 3, Maddy Fenton (7C) went to the Australian Classic gymnastics competition on the Gold Coast. She did amazingly well, finishing 7th overall in this National competition. Her individual results were:

  • 3rd place - floor apparatus
  • 9th - vault
  • 11th - bars
  • 12th - beam
  • 7th - all round (out of 45 competitors)

Maddy has now been selected to attend an Advanced Training Camp at the Australian Institute of Sport (Canberra) in November, which is extremely exciting for her.

Congratulations Maddy on an excellent achievement.
