1B | James C | For listening so beautifully during floor time, James has made a concerted effort to do his very best to understand what is being asked of him in class. This effort to listen has resulted in James producing some wonderful classwork without needing much teacher assistance. Go James! |
1C | Eleanor H | For her consistently fantastic demonstration of our school rule ‘listen to the speaker’. Eleanor, your 5L’s when engaging with Miss Vassie in our classroom were outstanding. I always know I can count on you to be a listening superstar - keep it up! |

It can be really hard having different teachers each day and Sigrid adapted each day which is a testament to her growing resilience. On top of this, Sigrid is doing a great job listening during class instruction which is helping her have clarity on what each task is expecting her to do. Go Siggy! |

BASKETBALL GRAND FINALISTS AND CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to all Wembley student who participated in basketball grand finals last weekend, regardless of the result. What a great effort to make it so far within a season.
We have been informed by the Wembley Basketball Club that the following teams, which are made up of many current and former Wembley students, were successful in winning their grand finals:
We also congratulate the Westgate Suns Under 10 girls team who won their grand final over the weekend, and any other students who won basketball grand finals.
We are proud of you all.
Congratulations to Xavier P of Year 2
Xavier has had a very successful second season at Williamstown Little Athletics taking out 20 personal bests and winning 4 gold medals out of 4 events at the club championship day. He was also presented with a trophy at the end of season awards day for ‘best in field’ for Under 8 males. Well done Xavier on this wonderful achievement!
