The Fathering Project - Olympics and Picnics 

On Tuesday 28th March, we hosted our first 'The Fathering Project' event of the year. Our theme was Olympics and Picnics. Families bought picnic dinners and enjoyed sitting down together and eating before the Olympic competitions begun. 

Once the Olympics events began, that's when the fun really kicked off! We had javelin throws, three legged races, relays, sack races and so many other events for people to compete in. The highlight of the night was definitely the relay races - we had some very competitive adults!! Thank you to all involved for being so willing to be active and join in the games. 

It was so lovely to have so many students there with the significant males in their lives and enjoying spending time together. It was a great turnout and amazing to have so many people joining us and participating in the games. Thanks to all that attended. We are very grateful to have such a wonderful community of people at Mitcham PS.
