SSV Holt Swimming Carnival Oakleigh Pool  2023

Hi Everyone,

On Tuesday 21st February St Agnes competed in the SSV Swimming Carnival against eight other schools in the Holt District at Oakleigh Pool.  The swim team was comprised of 11 St Agnes students from Years 3 and 4.  St Agnes competed in medley relays, freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly and in freestyle relays.

On a somewhat sunny day the St Agnes' swim team worked together, cheered on each other and all did their very best.  The results were good this year.  St Agnes' finished 7th overall and 5th in the percentage trophy, which is based on the number of swimming results and size of the swim team.  Congratulations to St James for winning the overall trophy this year and St Josephs Black Rock for winning the percentage trophy.

I would like to say a big thank you to the teachers who helped out and came to support the students on the day, also for all those early morning trial sessions that were attended by parents and teachers.  But most of all I thank the swim team for doing an amazing job in the pool representing St Agnes'.  The parents, teachers and myself are all very proud of you.
