Harmony Week

What is Harmony Week?

Harmony week is an event celebrated on the 21st March every year. It was created for racial equality all around the globe. Many races and cultures in individual countries were often discriminated against around the world. Harmony week was made to celebrate equality all around the world!

How Did We Celebrate Harmony Week?

We celebrated Harmony Week by participating in lots of class activities. Studen Leaders spoke to the school about Harmony Week including what Harmony Week is all about. They shared a special harmony day message to the whole school after recess. There are many opportunities to celebrate Harmony Week. For instance, we made beautiful vibrant orange harmony flowers, filled with diverse words about us on each delicate petal.

Realising our unique differences between one another really expresses the diversity surrounding the globe.

We learnt a lot during Harmony week and how we can celebrate our differences together! 🧡
