Harry Potter & the Cursed Child

On Wednesday 22nd March, the year 12 Theatre Studies and year 10 Drama classes had the opportunity to attend a performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at The Princess Theatre. We were also lucky enough to be invited to a Q&A with the director David Spencer, Natasha Herbert (who plays Minerva McGonagall and Dolores Umbridge), Jeremiah Wray (who played Draco Malfoy), Guy Langford (who played Harry Potter) and Tom Russel (who played Albus Potter). Jess Gibbs was even lucky enough to ask the cast and crew a question on behalf of our school. This gave the students extra insight into the process of putting on a show, but also how professional actors/actresses go about preparing for roles and the techniques they use when having to play multiple roles in the same day or even for some in the same show.
