YEAR 10-11 COURSE COUNSELLING

For most students thinking about their future and their future career path is very exciting but sometimes it can also create a few headaches because there seem to be so many choices. Thinking about your career doesn’t mean you have to pick a job and stick to it forever. These days most people see their career as a life-long journey along a pathway that has many branches, twists and turns. In other words, there are lots of chances along the way to change and set off in different directions.

This year course counselling will be challenging but students and parents will be supported through this process at all stages. Learning Mentors will support students during their Wednesday sessions and online presentations will take place for parents, recorded copies of these will be available on the Senior School Website. There are a number of important resources including a course counselling booklet provided to students and HighFacts which is available on the school website.
