Chapel Mass

Our fortnightly Chapel Mass was held on Tuesday, with Mr Sam Di Sano’s Year 9 Religion class hosting our celebration. Our readings and Fr. Jim’s homily spoke of decision making, meaning that in saying “yes” to something meant that we are really saying “no” to something else. The boys were challenged to consider that saying “no” to screen time is difficult, when we really want to say “yes” to completing study. Fr Jim explained that often our decisions become hard to make, but as we get older making the right decision becomes easier with practice. Hence, this summed up the Gospel where Jesus explained that it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. The person who can say “yes” to that which takes into account themselves and others has made the right decision.

We look forward to our next Chapel Mass that will be hosted by Ms Leigha Zervakos' class.
