Year 8 Mass

On Tuesday, the Year 8 students celebrated their final Mass for the year in the Chapel. Well done to Mr Anthony D’Ignazio’s 8.3 PCG for hosting their cohort Mass. Even with extremely long readings, readers are to be commended for a job well done. A big thank you to the altar servers, operators of the PowerPoint and Josh Sumich – an old boy from 2020 on piano. The students were challenged to sing beautifully, and they did not disappoint. Thank you again to Fra Oscar, for not only making the scriptures come to life, but for also allowing our students to reflect upon how to make these teachings real in their own lives.

7.6 Friday 8.00am Community Mass

This was our second last week for Friday 8.00am Community Mass. A big thank you to 7.6 for hosting the Mass and to our readers, Charles Nyoni, Adrian Faraone and Zavier Leone, and to our Altar Servers, Jeremiah Santelli and Brendan Carrabba. It is a lovely way to begin a Friday morning, as we prepare for another weekend. Thank you to Year 11 EMHC, John Van Beek who served just before his music exam. A fabulous attendance, especially seeing some of our regulars, past and present. Everyone is welcome and we would love to see you there next week for our final Friday Mass of the year!

Year 12 Cadre Retreat Day

On Monday, 21 November 19 Year 11 students will be training to be a Cadre Leader for the Year 8 Quest Retreat in 2022. Please pray for these students who have generously given up their time. Thank you to Miss Claire Wilson – Coordinator of Quest for all her planning in preparing these students. If your son is a Cadre Leader, please ensure that you have completed the Consent2Go.
