Science - Chemical and Physical Changes

In Science, the Year 6s have been exploring chemical and physical changes and investigating which of these changes can be reversed. They’ve dissolved particles to create solutions, changed the state of water by adding and removing heat, and have mixed acids and bases to create gas. Building an understanding of the different ways that particles behave in solid, liquid and gas form is a key component of our chemistry unit. Students have represented their understandings in a variety of ways, including role-play and constructing models out of play-doh.
