Charlie K. - 00L

This award goes to Charlie for showing the H.E.A.R.T value of Excellence. This week in Maths, Charlie was a subtraction star! She was so excited about her work that she asked for extra subtraction problems to complete and spent her spare time working on them. You should be so proud of your hard work! You are a Scoresby Superstar!

Burhan K. - 1/2D

Burhan has shown great enthusiasm towards our Fractured Fairytale lessons this week. He has enjoyed exploring these stories and has used them as inspiration to design his own Fairytale character based on The Gingerbread Man. What wonderful imagination you have, Burhan! Keep it up.

Amir S. - 1/2G

This award goes to Amir for his efforts in PONT this week. Amir has been working very hard to practise his addition strategies and apply these to different types of maths questions. Hard work pays off, so keep it up Amir!

Jacob M. - 3/4B

This award goes to Jacob for his fantastic work when initiating on his own. Jacob has been asking others to play more often and even gets his own whiteboard out for Quick Maths. He has had lots of kind conversations with peers and teachers, even drawing pictures for others!

This award goes to Sam for the great reasons and evidence he thought of to persuade us to do a class author study on David Walliams. He came up with very good arguments in his planning and I can’t wait to read your persuasive piece when it is finished; I know that this is a topic you feel strongly about!

This award goes to Jayden for demonstrating excellence in all areas of his work. Jayden has developed a fantastic work ethic and approaches all tasks with a positive attitude. He enjoys being faced with challenges and will regularly ask questions to further his knowledge and understanding. Keep up the amazing work Jayden.

This award goes to Ella for demonstrating the HEART Value of Excellence in writing this week. She carefully published her information report on Volcanoes in a visually appealing way. She should be very proud of her work!

Lachlan Z. and Oscar M. - 5/6M

This award is presented to both Lachlan and Oscar for their passionate contribution to our discussion about the book ’Lest We Forget’. Both students gave valuable points as to what they thought the text represented, as it could be interpreted a number of ways. Lachlan and Oscar, always keep up your enthusiasm to deliver your point of view in a respectful way!

Abraham A. - 5/6W

This award goes to Abraham for his positive attitude towards all aspects of his learning. This week, Abraham demonstrated his ability to label, estimate, measure and classify a variety of angles. Wonderful effort Abraham! Keep up the great work.

 Marley B. - Performing Arts

This award goes to Marley for her effort, contributions and achievement in Performing Arts lessons. Marley did an excellent job learning the bass part and melody to Stand By Me. Well done Marley!   

Mason D. - Physical Education

This award goes to Mason for his enthusiasm in Physical Education lessons! Mason displays good sportsmanship when playing with his peers and always gives 100% effort in all activities. Great work Mason!

Kai C. - Visual Arts

This award goes to Kai for his beautiful picture of poppy fields. Students in 1/2 discussed and practised using the perspective of distance in their art. Kai did a great job painting large poppies in the foreground, smaller poppies in the mid-ground and dots for the poppies that were in the distance. What a fabulous piece of art Kai!

Burhan K.  - Mandarin

This award acknowledges Burhan for his work in Mandarin class. We are playing a game practising the numbers in Mandarin and Burhan has been helping others learn how to play the game. Thanks for all your help, Burhan.
